Gyeonggi Province

The largest province in South Korea, Gyeonggi-do harboring the South Korea capital city, Seoul, consist of 31 cities, with Suwon as its capital. Gyeonggi-do performs as the pride of the Korean nations with smart cities, modern technology, innovation, central government and economy stands point.  Some of special cities are Incheon, the busiest port in Korea, Daejeon which perform with high techno city, Goyang is a city for global meeting destinations, and Yongin, the main tourist destination for its theme parks.

Suwon city

Suwon, traditionally known as "The City of Filial Piety"

Hwaseong Fortress

​Named as a UNESCO World Heritage, Hwaseong Fortress is a fortress built during the late Joseon dynasty, namely 1794-1796. The fort with walls of 5.52 km long was built for the purpose of defense, even this place is said to have various military facilities that cannot be found anywhere else. Surround the fort on the path that makes it easy for visitors. Visit in autumn to witness the Suwon Hwaseong Cultural Festival.

HWASEONG FORTRESS (indonesian)

Dinobatkan sebagai salah satu World Heritage UNESCO, benteng Hwaseong merupakan benteng yang dibangun pada bagian akhir masa dinasti Joseon, yakni 1794-1796. Benteng dengan tembok sepanjang 5.52 km ini dibangun dengan tujuan pertahanan, bahkan tempat ini disebutkan memiliki beragam fasilitas militer yang tidak dapat ditermukan di tempat lain. Kelilingi benteng ini di jalan setapak yang memudahkan pengunjung. Kunjungi pada musim gugur untuk menyaksikan Festival Budaya Suwon Hwaseong. 

Haenggung Palace

Haenggung Palace, built by King Jeongjo 1789  so he can be closer to his late Father Crown Prince Sado's royal tomb, to show his loyal filial piety.  It also become the power symbol of King Jeongjo's reign as he once succeed moved the Royal administrative office to this Palace, and proclaimed Suwon city as the capital of the nation. During his royal trip to this Palace, the palace become King's Royal Residence and rest place, but back to function as the government office when the King was away. ​

Suwon Chicken Street

According to Korean, the original famous Korean Fried Chicken is came from Suwon. The original jinmi tondak chicken craves by many who visits Suwon city for the first time. There is one street that dedicated for this super delicious dish. Usually they match Korean chicken with beer (: mekju in Korean) and famous as Chimek (chicken+mekju).

Menurut masyarakat Korea, Ayam Goreng Korea yang terkenal asli berasal dari Suwon. Ayam jinmi tondak asli sangat diidamkan oleh banyak orang yang mengunjungi kota Suwon untuk pertama kalinya. Ada satu jalan yang didedikasikan untuk hidangan super lezat ini. Biasanya mereka mencocokkan ayam Korea dengan bir (: mekju dalam bahasa Korea) dan mengenalkan istilah Chimek (chicken + mekju).

Another magical moment that Korea presents is the Garden that full of splendid sparkling lights in a form of animals and beautiful trees, best to see during the light festival held every winter season.

Petite France

A little replica of little French, brought a fairy tale feeling among colorful French style houses that appears in many famous Korea drama like My Love from Another Stars. There is a French antique dolls gallery, a living old house where you can wear classic hats and take photo in a dining room with antique ceramics on the background.

Songdo Smart City

Songdo is actually a District inside Incheon city that designated as International Business District (IBD) in the southern part of Incheon.  this 600 hectares  district are built from a reclaimed land along Incheon's waterfront. Songdo city is a place where you can learn about the concept of smart city, enjoy the nature made park, and admire state of arts through sculptures and building design such as the famous 'Tri Bowl'

Incheon Wolmido Island is a recreation complex with the shape of a half-moon tail, consist of an old-style theme park, cultural streets; a place where mostly art performances held, cafes where you can enjoy a coffee while viewing the sea, and seafood restaurants to dine all kind of fresh seafood.

Incheon China Town

Incheon China Town, believed to be the place where 'Jajjangmyeon' the famous Korean dish black bean noodles is born.  Hundreds of restaurants with Chinese style lies on this narrow street offering authentic taste of the Chinese born Korean dishes.
